By Car
Drop off/pick up 

There are several drop off and pick up spaces around the hospital including adjacent to our Chapel street, Gray Street, Belgrave Street and Kensington street entrances. For details of entrances please view or download our hospital campus map.

Parking

Public car parking is available at several sites around the hospital. There are also metered, on-street car spaces on the surrounding streets. You can also visit Parking Health NSW for more details or download the NSW Health Hospital Parking app from Google Play or iTunes to your smartphone or tablet device.

Concessional Parking

Eligible concessional rates for car parking are available to hospital patients and visitors. These fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change. For details on eligibility, rates and more visit the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District website.

By Bicycle
Bicycle parking stations are located at the public car park on Kensington street. Please note that locks are not supplied.
Public Transport
Bus

Train

The Kogarah train station is located north of the St George Hospital and takes approximately 7 minutes to walk to the Kensington Street entrance. If you’re walking from the station it will take about 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the St. George Peritonectomy & Liver Cancer Unit at the Pitney Building on Chapel Street. Your first visit with us will be at our main office, enter from Chapel street:

Surgery – St. George Hospital

Our surgeries are performed in the Day Surgery Unit, enter from either Kensington, Belgrave or Gray streets:

Post-Surgery – St. George Hospital

After surgery our patients are moved to Ward 2 South, enter from either Kensington, Belgrave or Gray streets:

Main Hospital Entrance – St. George Hospital

The Main hospital entrance is located just off Gray street, however, you may also enter from Kensington or Belgrave streets:
